Waco is one of nearly 375 cities in 25 countries embracing prayer and fasting in the Fall 40 Days for Life Campaign. 2018 Spring 40 Days for Life in Waco: New Location and Dynamic GrowthThis 2018 40 Days for Life campaign as even more powerful than the fall of 2017. For the Spring 2018 quarterly issue of the magazine Day 41 from 40 Days for Life, the prayer and community outreach campaign in Waco was featured in four-page article. The article effectively presents the sequence of events of the return of abortion to Waco in May 2017 and then the announcement in November of 2017 that Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas had a new abortion center in Waco. The photos in the article nicely reveal the vitality of 40 Days for Life in Waco, which is the centerpiece of Pro-Life Waco's challenge to Planned Parenthood abortions. A key feature of 40 Days for Life in Waco is proactive seeking a pastor and church involvement. The centerpiece of this facet of our campaigns is a full-page color ad in the Waco Tribune-Herald. For the spring campaign, the ad featured the names of 74 lead pastors and the names of their churches.
