Pro-Life Booth at the Heart of Texas Fair

For over two decades, we have delivered a pro-life booth at the Heart of Texas (HOT) Fair in Waco.  In recent years, Doel Garcia has provided the untiring leadership to make this 10-day outreach in October a reality.  The booth began years ago as a card table with flyers and has grown to a 10’x 20' booth with a diverse and sparkling display of items from flyers to models of life in the womb. The booth features large pictures of pre-natal, pro-life and chastity flyers, pre-natal models and the ever-popular yellow balloons with the message “Smile, your mom chose life!” Over 2,000 balloons are given to children each year. These balloons make quite an impact on the midway.

Over three dozen pro-lifers volunteer to work the booth each year. Thanks to all the workers and to Doel for organizing this huge outreach.

The Heart of Texas Fair pro-life booth touches the hearts and minds of thousands of fairgoers—from very young children to senior citizens.
