Letters to the Editor
The battle words on the Opinion Page of the Waco Tribune-Herald
The battle of words in the Waco Tribune-Herald has been a strong asset over the years for Pro-Life Waco. This has included the general pro-life/pro-abortion tussle. Moreover, Letters to the Editor has focused on specific eruptions. This has included the Girl Scout Cookie Boycott of 2004, Planned Parenthood's annual Nobody's Fool "sex ed" conference (no defunct), a City of Waco ordinance aimed at shutting down protest at Planned Parenthood, and more.
See below some letters to the editor on both sides of the battle in 2015 and on into 2016. In 2015 our side had 30 letters printed compared to 14 for abortion advocates. Letters to the Editor is the most-read section of daily newspapers. Letters offer a great opportunity for local pro-lifers. When printed, we have an opportunity to have our say. AND there is no financial cost to this outreach. 7 letters on the Planned Parenthood baby organ scandal (Summer 2015)
