Celebration of Abortion Suspension
Dec. 14, 2013 @ Church of the Open Door
Waco Abortuary Closed and Teen Sex Promotion Program Terminated
The pro-life community of Central Texas came together for a two-hour program and meal sponsored by Pro-Life Waco. This was a time for celebration and rededication. The celebration was for the closing of the Planned Parenthood Waco abortion facility and for the termination of the Nobody's Fool youth conference that promoted anything goes sex for children.
Nobody's Fool was launched in 1989 and abortions began in Waco in 1994. Our blessings followed two decades of diverse and complementary pro-life ministries. Before the Planned Parenthood abortion abortion facility closed in August of 2013, nearly 20,000 innocent lives were lost to abortion at the hands of Planned Parenthood. God granted many other eternal victories throughout the years--such as each pregnant woman who turned from Planned Parenthood and chose life for her baby. The 14 speakers on the program were from Waco, around Texas, and Stafford Virginia. Jim Sedlak of American Life League came from Virginia. Texas speakers included Molly White (Women for Life International), Joe Pojman (Texas Alliance for Life), and Monica Cline (former instructor at Nobody's Fool). Among the local speakers were Deborah McGregor (CareNet of Central Texas), Rusty Thomas (Elijah Ministries), and John Pisciotta (Pro-Life Waco). A 10-year-old girl delivered pledges of allegiance to the American and Christian flags. By the grace of God and the sidewalk counseling of Carolyn Knowles, her mom turned from Planned Parenthood to a choice for life for this beautiful child of God. Ruby McCray ended the celebration with a rousing rendition of Amazing Grace. Pastor Ronnie Holmes and members of Church of the Open Door contributed by ushering, babysitting, and much more. Members of Knights of Columbus Council #1358 served the delicious BBQ meal. Pro-life outreach continues in Waco. Other than abortion, Planned Parenthood is fully open for business in Waco. Planned Parenthood will continue to counsel for abortion, promote birth control to children without parental consent, profit from STD treatments, and advocate for the full acceptance of sex as a recreational activity. The pro-life alliance in Central Texas will continue until Planned Parenthood is closed in Waco.
