"NEVER Again in Waco" Challenges Secret Construction of PP Center in Waco
"NEVER Again in Waco" was the campaign to block Planned Parenthood from restarting abortion in Waco.
PP has obtaina Texas abortion license to again "serve" women through dozens of Central Texas counties.

The building project at 700 W. HWY 6 was masked in secrecy with Mazanec Construction taking the lead.
The mask was removed on November 16, 2017 When Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas held a
press conference and reveal the opening of its new abortion/birth control center in Waco.

Challenges to Planned Parenthood construction projects in other cities
Planned Parenthood is so controversial, its construction projects are frequently met with vigorous local opposition. The biggest eruption occurred in Austin with a Planned Parenthood construction of a mega abortion facility in 2003-2004. Other construction eruptions include New Orleans, Dallas and Aurora, Illinois. Typically Planned Parenthood attempts to conceal the fact that building are for their use in aborting helpless, innocent pre-born baby boys and girls.

PP in Waco is under the management of Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas (PPGT)
Planned Parenthood in Waco does not have affiliate status within Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Planned Parenthood in Waco is under the direction of Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas. PPGT is one of three PP affiliates in Texas. The others are PP of South Texas and PP of the Gulf Coast. Planned Parenthood in Waco became part of PPGT as a result of a merger in 2010. Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas ranges from Austin to Dallas and Fort Worth and out to Tyler. Currently, Planned Parenthood Waco does not commit surgical or chemical abortions. Rather the center in Waco refers clients for abortions carried out by Planned Parenthood in Austin, Dallas, and Fort Worth. If Planned Parenthood occupies a new facility in Waco, the shedding of innocent blood could resume.

History of Abortion in Waco
Planned Parenthood is responsible for the deaths of over 19,000 pre-born boys and girls in Waco. The killing began in January of 1994 at 1927 Columbus Avenue after an extended public controversy over opening a PP abortion center in Waco.
Planned Parenthood in Waco had operated a birth control etc. center since 1935. From 1994 to 2000, Planned Parenthood destroyed pre-born babies through surgical abortions. In 2001, PP in Waco added the chemical abortion method known as RU-486. This type of abortion uses two pharmaceuticals. One causes a breakdown of the lining of the mother's uterus. A second drug causes contractions to expel the dead baby from the mother.
A big change occurred in December of 2011. The Columbus Avenue abortion center was closed and the abortion business was shifted to the sole remaining Planned Parenthood facility at 1121 Ross Avenue. In August of 2013, Planned Parenthood stopped performing abortions, but continued "everything else" at Ross Avenue.
With its new abortion license, Planned Parenthood is likely to resume abortions at 1121 Ross Avenue and then possibly shift to a new clinic at the completion of the project at 700 W. HWY 6 after its completion in late spring or early summer.

The ominous HWY 6 construction project
There is more negative news.  Pro-Life Waco has a strong indication that the building now under construction at 700 W HWY 6 will eventually occupied by Planned Parenthood in Waco. This location is between Providence Hospital and the intersection of HWY 6 and Bosque Boulevard. Planned Parenthood gained Texas approval for a license to perform abortions in November of 2016. This center could become a high-profile abortion facility attracting mothers from dozens of Texas Counties.
Tips have been received from within the local building contractors community that the HWY 6 facility is for Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood’s name is not on the building permit.  This is the way PP operates when they try to hide their identity—as with PP abortion facilities in Dallas, Aurora, IL, and New Orleans. Planned Parenthood knows that if the word gets out, there will be an uproar. Planned Parenthood is definitely correct in that regard.
In the case of New Orleans, when Planned Parenthood’s identity became known, the former Bishop of Austin, the Most Reverend Gregory Aymond publicly opposed the construction. He also warned that contractors involved would never work on projects for the Catholic Diocese of New Orleans.
Pro-Life Waco is trying hard to get more information about the HWY 6 construction project and is encouraging contractors to abandon the project or not get involved if they have not already done so.
What local contractors are building
this new facility?

The Planned Parenthood game plan
for abortions in Waco targeting babies
and moms throughout Central Texas

After 2½ years without the shedding of innocent blood, Planned Parenthood in Waco is plans to restart its abortion business. This business previously operated from 1994 through August of 2013. Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, the parent corporation of Planned Parenthood in Waco, has obtained a Texas license to commit abortions in Waco. You can see the essential facts for Waco in the graphic above. View the whole list of current Texas abortion licenses here. The date of activation for the Waco license was November 15, 2016. Sadly, Planned Parenthood Waco can launch itnss abortions at any time. Abortions may have already begun. It appears that Planned Parenthood is trying to establish an Interstate-35 Abortion Corridor. Planned Parenthood operates abortion centers in San Antonio, Austin, Fort Worth, and Dallas. This lineup leaves a 200-mile gap between Austin and Dallas-Fort Worth. An abortion center in Waco would fill that gap and also be an abortion marketing center throughout a broad area of Texas. To be profitable, the Waco abortion center would have to generate substantial abortion business outside of McLennan County. Texas abortion statistics reveal the number of McLennan County residents who obtained abortions in 2014 was 310. This is well under the 1,297 abortions Planned Parenthood performed in Waco in 2008. To reach 1,500 abortions yearly, Planned Parenthood Waco would have to become the abortion magnet for dozens of counties east and west of Interstate 35.
